Nicole is a proud graduate of the Youth of Performing Arts High School in Louisville, Kentucky. She trained with the University of Louisville Dance Academy and the Louisville Ballet, performing as a trainee in numerous productions such as The Nutcracker, Coppélia, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Raymonda, Paquita, Don Quixote, La Bayadère, Romeo and Juliet, and Swan Lake.

Nicole earned her BFA in Classical Ballet from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music. She has taught at various ballet schools throughout the Kentuckiana area and spent a year teaching English in France. Upon returning to the States, she was the elementary French teacher at the Francis Parker School of Louisville, where she also taught kindergarten creative movement classes and assisted with choreography for their middle school musical theatre program.

More recently, Nicole enjoyed attending adult ballet classes at the International Ballet Academy in Bellevue, Washington, where she also studied character dance. A highlight of this experience was performing as Clara’s mother in the 2019 production of The Nutcracker, alongside her husband, while their daughter played Clara.

Nicole is excited to teach ballet and character at Utah Festival Ballet and is thrilled that her two daughters are now training here as well.
