Jenna Wudel

Summer Faculty

Jenna Wudel recently graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a minor in Design Thinking. She has over 18 years of dance training and performance experience, studying ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern, and Pilates. During her time at BYU, Jenna performed with the BYU Theatre Ballet and Studio Company, appearing in works including Swan Lake, Giselle, La Bayadère, Les Sylphides, Robin Hood, and ballets by George Balanchine, Gerald Arpino, and William Forsythe.

 

Jenna has expanded her training through international and national programs, including studies with La Scala Ballet in Italy, the English National Ballet in Paris and London, Ballet West’s Summer Intensive, and The Ballet Alliance. She has trained under renowned artists and educators including David Arce, Diana White, Alan Hineline, Jodie Gates, Yan Chen, Lynne Charles, Cameron Basden, Christina Johnson, and Miranda Weese. She also earned her American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum Level 5B Certification.

 

In addition to performing, Jenna is passionate about teaching, choreography, and Pilates instruction. Her original choreographic works have been presented at BYU showcases, including Mind Unravelled and her senior capstone work, Threads of Us. She currently teaches ballet, contemporary, jazz, and pointe at dance studios throughout Utah and is a certified mat Pilates instructor. Jenna is dedicated to helping dancers develop strong technique, artistry, and confidence while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
