Emma Wadsworth

Faculty

Emma began dancing at the age of 2 as a form of physical therapy after breaking many bones. Emma instantly fell in love with the art form, and continued to grow in it. She studied at Classical Ballet academy for over a decade, then at the age 14 began training at Ballet West Academy in their Pre-Professional program until graduating highschool. While at Ballet West Academy, Emma was introduced to special needs dance classes. Emma helped in several of these classes, and after graduating highschool start multiple special needs classes at various studios.

Emma’s early dancing years started with Classical Ballet but she became familiar with contemporary, lyrical, neoclassical ballet, jazz, and ballroom. Emma received multiple scholarships throughout her training as well as many dancing and performing opportunities. Emma danced on her High school dance company through junior high as well as highschool, and competed and placed nationally on her Ballroom team. Her senior year of highschool she competed in the Youth American Grand Prix and was invited to finals in New York City.

Emma has performed with Utah Festival Ballet as an Honorary Company Dancer in several performances and has been teaching for 4 years across Utah county. She currently attends UVU and plans to become a Nurse Practitioner.
